Because everybody loves a carnival…

June
30

Independence Day is Friday, so this week’s Carnival of Family Life is themed “Celebrate America” and is hosted by Mixed Metaphor (subtitle: Writing, blogging, believing, loving . . . living a life that feels like a mixed metaphor).

Our contribution this week was my musing on the enjoyment of going grocery shopping with my sons (which I wrote before a particularly difficult trip Saturday evening, sigh).  This post also was submitted to the weekly Best of Me Symphony.

Anyhow, check out the carnival, which has the usual bloggy goodness, plus lots of great photographs of fireworks.

If you have no idea what a blog carnival is or want to know more about this particular blog carnival, check out this post on the Carnival of Family Life’s home blog, Colloquium.
